Drowning

Do you ever feel like you are drowning? Not literal drowning, but as a metaphor.

Now that summer is here, I am getting swamped with jr. high events and all the issues that go with them. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who feels the weight of the issues that go on within the ministry. Parents complaining, students getting into trouble, problems with logistics and administration stuff, and the list goes on. The best way to illustrate the way I feel is the image above.

I am not depressed or anything, but a bit overwhelmed.

The New Faces of Jr. High

Well...There is a lot of transition happening within the Student Ministries Department at Calvary. Melissa is moving over to high school ministry, leaving a huge gap in my ministry. I must say that I struggle with change...sometimes I loathe it. BUT I am so excited about the opportunity to work with my new Jr. High Associate...Nikki Smalley! We are the new faces of Jr. High and we are ready to kick-off the summer and enjoy a bright future together. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Please keep us and our ministry in prayer!
